Upcoming Shows

We are no longer located at a permanent gallery location and are now using alternative venues to exhibit curated shows.

Internal Environments 2008 - Project Forefront and Ongoing
In its fruition stage, the premise was based upon a thread in the imagery amongst artists work - humor and fear, visceral and emotional relationships with nature and academic dialog with others, themselves and their surroundings/spaces.

Upon speaking with artists about their inspirations, the intent with which they pursue time in the studio, their desire for recognition and solo exhibitions, I began to see another pattern: Artists personal Internal stories being translated into art which we then view in the Environment of the gallery…for about 6 weeks - and then it's on to the next artist.

After contemplating the above, listening to the artists and listening to collectors, I cancelled all of the solo/ 2-person shows I had booked for the year.

Instead, these artists will work all year long in the studio, developing work as they desire, making work in process as usual, but exposing it in waves, not all at one solo show, one at a time.

The stages of the studio process will be divided into 4 receptions that will each launch new clusters or major pieces of work by all of the 12 artists at the same time. The shows will be hung Salon Style in the Main Gallery.

When the work sells it will be allowed to be taken by the collector almost immediately and even more new work could be set in its place, creating a ride range of reactionary emotions by those who missed out. Because the shows have the potential to change daily, there will always be something new to see.

In this way we can truly see the artists Internal Environment in the studio and engage in the Environment of the gallery. We intend to build a relationship with the artists and their audiences with continuous exposure. In addition, collectors can learn about the gallery's intent as a whole: Showcasing Artists in the Forefront.

2007
“Paint Haters”
I have observed that there are those who hate painters, those who hate narrative painters, the ones who hate abstract painters, drawing-haters, installation haters and somewhere in all of that hopefully you have true discussion rather than mere posturing. The 2007 program will begin with abstract paintings, then to pop-surrealism narratives, to conceptual installation, then drawing, installation again and ending with abstract graffiti.

2005
In partnership with Bamboo Lane, the program calendar alternated between the 2 galleries. Revisited shows were Portraits, Patterns and Enter/Exit. Regeneration had an artist from each gallery.

2004 / 03
The shows were prefaced by “return to…” in order to subliminally impose the notion of the gallery name, “revisited” both conceptually and literally. Numbers were used in order to tap into linear thought. Each show card had text “one-words” to describe the participating artists’ work. Originally the cards were to have text only, but within the year that started to feel a little cryptic so I started using images also.
