Gallery Revisited - Artist: Kireilyn Barber

Kireilyn Barber's photography transcends time, documentation and voyeurism in a way that compartmentalizes small elements of a larger whole into series which in turn allow us to revisit the subject in the context of its entirety, imaginary or real. Her work is indicative of nature as well as our urban surroundings in conjunction with our emotional experiences upon viewing the images. All of her work employs a hyper-realistic sensibility, a classic approach to the medium using light and color and a finite sense of composition that supports the concept while maintaining accessibility.
